    So many new faces! I have been retired since July 2006 (!!), and a lot of friends have retired, too, in the interim between then and now. That's why I treasure our DEAR lunches.

Cancellation of Bruce's Concert

Sadly, due to outside circumstances (weather and church considerations), Bruce's Community Concert group will not be able to perform tomorrow night (Friday, June 1) at the Strawberry Festival. 

I know you those of you who were looking forward to attending are as disappointed as I.

All was good for the May gathering, despite the fact they had given our orignal table away to another group.

We were delighted when a group of DIS teachers came in and sat at a nearby table on their "half day".
